You will
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive quality engineering competency for the organization.
- Standardize testing methodologies, automation frameworks, test data management, and governance processes across the organization.
- Overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring that testing activities adhere to established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality engineering practices are integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of testing efforts and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Leading and managing the team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering and incorporate them into the organization's processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of our engineering practices.
- Establish processes for defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice awareness across the organization to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on testing, automation, test data management, and governance.
- Proven experience in leading the implementation of quality engineering competencies.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with modern testing tools and frameworks.
