We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying finishes to various structures. Your expertise will contribute to the aesthetic appeal and longevity of our projects, whether they involve residential or commercial properties.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush application.
- Restore and renovate surfaces as needed, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks as required in conjunction with painting duties.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate color schemes.
- Conduct trim carpentry work to enhance the overall appearance of painted areas.
- Estimate materials needed for projects and communicate requirements effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques is preferred but not required.
- Experience in airless paint spraying and various painting techniques.
- Knowledge of plastering methods is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in design choices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
