Job Summary
Ability to assist and cover all duties and responsibilities necessary for the daily operations of running a branch office in the absence of the Office or Assistance Office Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain a thorough working knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, procedures and policies and be able to provide coverage in all branch areas when necessary
- Provide personalized, professional service to all members in an exceptional manner, seeking out opportunities to exceed member expectations and deepen relationships
- Supervise and schedule office employees
- Interact with members to explain, promote and offer products and services accordingly
- Greet and respond to member inquiries, requests, or problems. Handle complaints as necessary
- Assist members with stop payments, photo copies of share drafts, payroll deduction, Debit and credit cards, online banking, bill pay, RDC, telephone teller, cross member transfers, IRAs, Share Certificates, travel notice and address changes
- Complete Gpod, morning branch totals, processing mail and night drop
- Assist with cleanliness of work and office areas and maintenance of machinery
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
- Opening and Closing of Building
- Building maintenance such as: (snow shoveling, changing light bulbs, purchasing cleaning supplies, cleaning in between cleaner’s scheduled days, wildlife maintenance, lawn maintenance, etc.)
- Maintain and arrange for additional maintenance of office equipment
- Maintain office, building and fish budgets
- Responsible for providing branch reports
- Employee performance evaluations
- Hold staff meetings
- Complete employee and member accident reports
- Deal with personnel issues such as: (interviewing prospective employees, encourage employee morale, disciplinary measures, termination of employees, maintain employee personnel files, enforce personnel policies)
- Responsible for employee security and robbery training specific to the branch
- Respond to Alarm / Fire/ATM calls during and after hours
- Maintain key control logs for the building and employees
- Notary services and Signature Guarantee
- Communicate with Office Supervisor and Assistant Office Supervisor to keep them abreast of all branch issues
- Maintaining branch manuals
- Encourage staff to participate in community events / CU theme days
- Comply with all safety and security policies, practices and procedures. Report any unsafe or suspicious activities to your supervisor
- Community involvement is a requirement of this position as outlined in the ServU Employee Handbook.
- Complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Performs related responsibilities as required.
