- Hold a current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or higher certification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a large campus area network consisting of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, WiFi, routing protocols (OSPF and BGP), authentication servers, monitoring and reporting applications.
- Installing, testing and maintaining LAN/WAN equipment (Cisco and Aruba) and related services to include 802.1x, Palo Alto firewall, InfoBlox and IPAM services.
- Advanced Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution, System Analysis and debugging software and hardware Work closely with development teams to fix bugs and improve system performance. Recommend and apply system optimizations and upgrades to improve functionality and performance.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for solutions and processes
- Provide expert consultation and advice to support teams as well as the government customer
- Implement incident responses to manage and mitigate IT security incidents as defined by the government customer
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and maintenance. This includes engaging vendors such as Microsoft, Dell, VMware, Cisco, Tanium, Splunk, and Aruba for advanced problem resolution
- 3 years of experience: Managaing projects, budgets, schedules, resources, and vendors. Supervising and mentoring Network infrastructure specialists. Making recommendations for ways to improve performance, reduce costs, and meet business requirements
