Internship – Accounting

Hybrid from Reston, VA

Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Finance & Accounting Team here at SES Space & Defense where we are driven by our passion to deliver best-in-class satellite network solutions, products, and services!

Based in our Reston, VA office, we are seeking a motivated Accounting intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in various HR functions. You should be prepared to work in a diverse team with a strong dedication to excellence in financial management.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Support the accounting team with data entry and record-keeping
• Help reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
• Conduct financial analysis and research as needed
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

Must Haves

• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior in a related undergraduate program
• Applicable classroom, project experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work in United States
• Fluency in spoken and written English
