What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk (Seasonal) position at Sesame Flyers?
DUTIES:
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, provide administrative support working closely with Education Coordinator, Project Coordinators, Participants, and other program staff.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of participant files, filing all forms related to SYEP program.
- Work with Program Coordinator to ensure all forms have been completed properly.
- Answer phones, make photocopies, receive/direct participant questions.
- Data entry of participant application forms; subsequent administration of these electronic files.
- Disbursal of participant time sheets; timely collection of time sheets for payroll purposes.
- Other assignments as requested by the Program Coordinator or Program Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate. At least one year of experience working in an office environment.
- MS Office/Google Suites.
- Knowledge of SEL and PYD.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of East Flatbush, Flatbush, Crown Heights, and Canarsie neighborhoods.
