What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Prep Team - Overnight 12am-8am position at Sesame Place Philadelphia?
What you get to do:
- Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner
- Perform prep duties prior to park opening including, but not limited to park washdown, pressure washing, trash removal and disposal, sweeping, window and mirror washing, cobweb removal, sign cleaning.
- Follow standard operating procedures necessary to perform job functions and deliver a quality product.
- Provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
What it takes to succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Currently have valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelines preferred.
- Must be able to work overnight shifts between 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Hours may change based on park hours and business needs.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with ambassadors and all others conducting business on our properties.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Some specific work areas may require heavier lifting.
- Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: kneel, squat, stand, walk, climb, bend floor- to- waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights if needed.
- Must be able to work outdoors and in dimly lit locations, in varying Pennsylvania weather, to include heat and cold.
- Position will be exposed to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, odors and possibly cold/heat temperature extremes.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift based on business need, to include overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
- $17.00 per hour
