What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nature Instructor position at Sesame/Rockwood Day Camps?
Do you love the outdoors? Do you love children? Come join us this summer as our Nature Instructor! In this important role, you will help our campers gain a better understanding and appreciation of the environment that surrounds them.
You will be responsible for leading fun nature activities for our campers who are ages 3-13. Various activities include scavenger hunts, rock painting, slime making, learning about and helping with the garden, learning about outdoor animals (birds, insects, etc) and so much more.
The camp season is Monday - Friday, June 23rd - August 15th, 2025. The camp day starts with sign-in at 8:25am and ends at 4:00pm. We are closed Friday, July 4, 2025. Transportation is provided if needed. Snacks and lunch are provided as well as staff shirts.
