Description
Senior Logistics Specialist will oversee the operational flow of automotive parts/components from supplier to
warehouse to production floor, to customer. This process aims to provide a clear set of instructions for managing the
technical processes and internal logistics operations in the SeSe Automotive Assembly Plant. This includes effective
project management to ensure that from material intake to JIS shipping to the customer fulfillment, all processes are
adhered to accordingly.
- Internal Line Feed Planning: Develop and manage the general volume of inventory movements to match the production plan, ensuring alignment with ordering departments such as engineering, quality, safety, and finance.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with various internal departments to align production schedules and inform relevant parties about building schedules. Ensure effective communication channels with purchasing and logistics to guarantee the availability of all necessary parts.
- Constraint identification: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks that exist in internal operations and define corrective measures to address production challenges.
- Purpose-Driven Planning: Align with ordering departments to determine actions needed to support production based on their specific purposes, such as process validation, testing, or training.
- Continuous Optimization: Utilize insights from existing methods and ideology to optimize internal logistic operations. Identify and resolve process issues to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes. Enforce the adherence to standards throughout the workforce.
- Process Creation and Implementation: Take the lead in creating and implementing or improving operation processes. Given our startup nature and ever changing environment, this involves establishing efficient and effective processes from scratch.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation related to logistical operations, including specifications, data outputs, and improvement recommendations.
- Cost Tracking: Track and monitor costs associated with logistical operations, providing regular updates and insights to contribute to cost-effective planning. Maintaining of the monthly expenditures allowed and purchasing requirements
- Mutli-Level Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, internal operations, managment, and possible 3rd parties to ensure seamless integration of components into the production process.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Supervise, coach and train logistics workforce as needed
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Comply with laws, regulations.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Know and comply with the policies of the Integrated Management System, the guidelines of the Code of Ethics, the rules of occupational risk prevention and the rules of security and protection of information.
- Work following the processes defined in the organization.
- Ensure order and cleanliness in their area of responsibility.
- Make responsible use of resources and raw materials.
- Ensure their own safety, always complying with the safety measures and ORP regulations applicable in each case.
- Use appropriately and responsibly the personal protective equipment required for their position.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, preferred.
- Experience in ERP, WMS, or SAP preferred.
- 3-5 years in logistics.
- 2-3 years in automotive.
- Advanced knowledge of material flow management.
- Experience in process implementation.
- Proven project management experience regarding implementation and effectiveness.
- Willingness to work all shifts as required.
- Must wear safety gear and PPE when on production floor.
- Order and cleanliness of their area and its environment.
- Able to stand/and or sit for 10 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk the production floor with the as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
