Embedded / Hardware Test Engineer
Atlanta, GA (must work Onsite) - In Atlanta, GA / ready to relocate immediately for this job.
2 years plus fulltime contract.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mid-Level Embedded / Hardware Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing embedded systems, with a focus on devices and hardware. Experience in the automotive or tracking device industry is highly desirable. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded products.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for embedded systems and devices.
- Design and implement automated tests to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Perform system-level testing, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
- Identify and document defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers.
- Maintain and improve test environments and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in embedded systems testing.
- Strong understanding of embedded hardware and software concepts.
- Experience with testing tools and methodologies, such as:
- Python
- C/C
- JTAG
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Experience with automotive or tracking devices is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be in Atlanta, GA or ready to relocate immediately for this job.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with automotive or tracking device industry standards.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Familiarity with Hardware Description Languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.
