Software Engineer (multiple positions)

Contract
We are seeking skilled and experienced Software Engineers to contribute to the development and extension of our ROCI big data platform/graphDB. This role focuses on enabling syndication of the platform and involves working with a variety of cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a passion for building scalable and robust systems. Candidates must be within a commutable distance of Philadelphia or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and extend the ROCI big data platform/graphDB to support platform syndication.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Neo4j graph database.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Databricks.
- Automate AWS pipelines.
- Develop and maintain APIs using Django, ECS, and EKS.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Neo4j graph database.
- Proficiency in Databricks ETL development.
- Experience with AWS pipeline automation.
- Hands-on experience with ECS, EKS, and Django-based API development.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
This role is based in Philadelphia, PA and is likely hybrid. Candidates must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate.
