GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provide general cleaning and custodial care of buildings and work areas in order to create a hygienic and pleasant working environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean work areas including but not limited to Shops, Offices, Bathrooms, Break Rooms and Change Rooms
- Dust, mop floors, sanitize urinals and toilets
- Wash dishes/coffee pots
- Restock paper products and hand soap in restrooms
- Restock kitchen products, as necessary
- Replace light bulbs when necessary
- Remove waste and recycling containers
- Maintain sanitary conditions to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and steam cleaners
- Use chemicals and other cleaning products safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Support for setup and cleanup after company events
- Run errands (administrative and picking up supplies) therefore must have a clear driving record and valid
TECHNICAL SKILLS and BEHAVIORAL ABILITIES
- Ability to read and follow work guidelines
- Follow instructions
- Ability to work at varying heights
- Ability to utilize various cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of and ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment/tools in area of operation
EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years custodial experience preferred
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the custodial field
