SIS is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lubbock, TX.
Summary:
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs of all facility, operational, and portable equipment, as defined by Superior Inspection Services. Working hours will vary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe & productive workplace
- Troubleshoots and/or repairs facility, operational and portable equipment as defined by the Company
- Completes necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program processes
- Proposes recommendations to improve the equipment maintenance program processes
Education
- High School diploma, GED
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Ability to set up a safe and productive work flow
- General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Operates forklift and overhead crane
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and managers
- Ability to work independently with occasional supervision
