ISS is seeking a Shop Laborer to join our team. Career path advancement is accessible through specialized training and mentors committed to helping you learn about snubbing and HWO equipment maintenance and operation.
This position is subject to a training period at the ISS facility based in Arnaudville, LA.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- General shop up-keep, maintenance, and organization.
- General maintenance of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Support mechanics with various tasks.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a shop truck.
- Load/unload trucks on location, picking up or delivering supplies.
- General assembly work that may require operating various power/hand tools.
- Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
- Ability to cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
- Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated.
- Pressure wash equipment for maintenance or cosmetic painting.
- Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and rely on common sense to follow written and verbal directions
- Basic ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
- Basic computer skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
- 12 months experience in oilfield services preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
