Sesmas Tree Service is a family-owned business that is seeking a motivated, energetic individual to provide overall management of our business operations, including scheduling and general oversight of our production crews. We are looking for a person who wants to work in a positive work environment and will be proactive to get things done. Excellent communication skills, a competitive spirit, and a team player mentality are desired.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead Operations – Assist the owner in overseeing all tree services to meet performance and financial goals.
• Manage the Tree Care Department – Direct day-to-day operations, including sales arborists and production crews.
• Job Estimating & Scheduling – Quote commercial and residential jobs to support our sales team.
• Set & Track Goals – Establish and review department goals monthly to ensure continuous improvement.
• Safety & Training – Develop and implement safety training to maintain a secure work environment.
• Customer Satisfaction & Brand Growth – Maintain quality service, efficiency, and uphold our company’s reputation.
• Ethical & Strategic Leadership – Enforce ethical business practices and implement improvements for profitability.
• Hiring & Team Development – Recommend training, recognition, hiring, and performance management.
• Operational Leadership: Recommend and, where appropriate, enact operational improvements to positively affect processes, standards, and profitability.
📌 Position Details:
✅ Full-time (50-60 hours/week, as scheduled with the owner)
✅ Work at least one Saturday per month (normally half-day)
✅ Occasional travel for out-of-town projects
✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED
