Position Title: Host
Reports To: General Manager and Assistant General Manager
Position Summary:
The host controls the flow of customers in and out of the barroom. As the first and last interaction with customers, the host conveys our essential culture of kindness and enthusiasm, setting the tone for our guests’ experience. It is the hosts responsibility to maintain exceptional customer service, providing a pleasant attitude upon guests’ arrival as well as departure.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Upon arrival, greet all guests politely.
- Maintain knowledge throughout shift of open tables and bar seating.
- Escort guests to their table/seat.
- Communicate with staff/management regarding party sizes, reservations, and current waitlist.
- Monitor the patio to ensure the area is clean and tidy.
- Perform routine opening and closing duties.
Required Skills or Traits:
