Lab Pack Technician (Job #5148)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

A Lab Pack Technician at SET Environmental is responsible for:

• Hands-on unpackaging and consolidation of hazardous chemical wastes from lab pack containers
• Assistance in the chemical treatment of bulked chemical wastes
• Perform shipping and receiving activities
• Overall maintenance and storage of department and facility equipment and supplies
• Assisting other Houston operations at the facility or in the field
• Will perform other miscellaneous duties as required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. in Chemistry or related sciences strongly preferred
• Obtain and keep current all certifications/licenses required (I.E. 40 Hour HAZWOPER)
• Ability to manipulate a 55-gallon drum
• Ability to work safely and follow outlined policies and procedures

Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
