What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Pack Technician position at SET Environmental Inc?
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position reports directly to Lab Pack Manager and will assist with the following:

Hands-on unpackaging and consolidation of hazardous chemical wastes from lab pack containers

Assistance in the chemical treatment of bulked chemical wastes

Perform shipping and receiving activities
-
Overall maintenance and storage of department and facility equipment and supplies

Assisting other Houston operations at the facility or in the field

Will perform other miscellaneous duties as required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

B.S. in Chemistry or related sciences strongly preferred

Obtain and keep current all certifications/licenses required (I.E. 40 Hour HAZWOPER)

Ability to manipulate a 55-gallon drum

Ability to work safely and follow outlined policies and procedures
