SET Rescue and Safety a Division of SET Environmental, Inc. with our safety-first attitude transforms us into a safety-minded culture that allows us to lead by example through training, knowledge, and experience. SET Rescue and Safety provides high angle and confined space rescue teams that will arrive onsite with the latest equipment designed for rope rescue, prepare a detailed emergency action pre-plan, and be ready to implement said plan until the hazards have been alleviated.
Our rescue teams are equipped with state-of-the-art technology thus complementing their skills and allowing us to build a cost-effective safety experience to meet your needs. With over 100 Safety Technicians, these teams have the ability to staff over 20 rescue teams trained in medical, high-angle rescue, Hazwoper 40, and many other specialized certifications. We partner with clients for on-site services, and customizable training for emergency preparedness and incident management mitigation.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
A Sales Representative at Safe Rescue a division of SET Environmental is responsible for meeting the sales objectives in the assigned region and to:
- Build and maintain a successful sales pipeline. Seek opportunities with existing customers and with prospect accounts to ensure account growth
- Ensure revenue expansion with existing accounts. Seek opportunities with existing accounts to expand our current service offerings and achieve maximum account penetration. Create and communicate account plans for top accounts to include opportunities and growth plans
- Execute sales through multiple methods of lead generation, communication, and networking
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty
- Evaluate client requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their business goals
- Visit customer facilities and jobsites to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction
- Develop strategies for face-to-face meetings and virtual meetings
- Participate in trade shows, lunch & learns, and industry activities
- Track leads and manage customer interactions
- Remain current in knowledge of competitive activities, including service lines, pricing, and market changes
- Prepare customer estimates, reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback
- Provide exceptional service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Display and practice an elevated level of integrity and ethical standards
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year degree, preferably in a science field or 4 years working in a team environment and in a customer service and/or sales role
- Proven track record in industrial outside sales and business development is preferred
- A proven history of meeting sales targets and boosting profitability
- Strong understanding of sales processes, including business development strategies
- A strong knowledge of industrial, safety and/or rescue services preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable making presentations regularly and interacting with customers daily in meetings and via web-based interactions
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to inspire teamwork and collaboration within the organization
- An initiative-taking approach to identifying opportunities for growth within the market
Salary Range: $75,000 per year (plus commissions)
