Warehouse Package Handler

Must Have Early Am hours availablily Monday Through Saturday 5am to 10am

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at our distribution center. The Warehouse Package Handler is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of packages within our warehouse, from receiving to shipping. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be an integral part of our shipping and receiving team.

Duties:

- Load and unload packages from trucks and trailers using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Utilize an RF scanner to track packages and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including the storage of packages, pallets, and other materials.
- Lift, carry, and move heavy packages and pallets as needed.
- Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with receiving and shipping packages, including verifying contents and ensuring proper labeling.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of package movements and inventory levels.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including cleaning and maintenance.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages and pallets.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse equipment.
- Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Ability to operate an RF scanner and perform basic computer tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
