Job title and brief description: The Customer Service Administrator is responsible for working alongside sales and operations to understand shipping and quotes dates, then communicating updates to external customers. Additionally, this position will support Regionals Sales Managers in customer communication and order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; 2-year Business degree preferred.
- 3-years of sales administration or customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
Primary Tasks:
- Notify customer and Regional Sales Managers of product receipt.
- Verifying all technical data is included with the incoming order; notify the Regional Sales Manager if additional customer data is needed for quotation or processing.
- Provide regular updates of order progress through service center via telephone and/or email.
- Document and route all sales conversations to the appropriate Regional Sales Manager; communicate any issues or customer concerns with operations.
- Field calls for status updates and general status and/or repair inquiries from sales and end users.
- Coordinate with production and sales on critical/flexible dates to satisfy delivery requirements; update sales and production on new customer requirements or requested deadlines.
- Facilitate online chat discussions with potential new customers via the company website.
- Discuss areas for improvement within customer service with production and sales.
