What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Health Associate position at Setauket Animal Hospital?
Setauket Animal Hospital is a 6 doctor general practice that is in search of a compassionate, dedicated team player with experience working as a veterinary assistant. Typical job duties consist of triaging general practice appointments, performing appropriate restraint techniques for doctors and technicians, cleaning, laundry, assisting the technicians with preparatory duties for surgery procedures, and filling pharmaceutical medications. On site training will be offered at the start of employment. Our facility is open Monday through Friday 8A-6P, and Saturday's 8A-4P. Our facility believes in the utmost quality of life for all staff members to ensure we have a balanced work vs. life atmosphere.
