Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drafting principles and be proficient in various CAD software. This role involves creating detailed drawings and schematics for projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and architects to bring designs to life, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create 2D and 3D models for various projects, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and details.
• Utilize Civil 3D for civil engineering projects, including site plans and grading designs.
• Prepare layout plans, sections, elevations, and other necessary documentation for project presentations.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the drafting process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, Sketchup, and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience in creating schematics and detailed drawings for construction or engineering projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to convey design concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
