Job Overview
As the Director of Engineering, you will lead and oversee all engineering activities within the organization. You will be responsible for developing strategies, implementing engineering plans, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the engineering team to achieve project goals
- Develop engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Oversee the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Utilize ArcGIS for mapping and analysis purposes
- Conduct technical writing for reports, proposals, and project documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet regulatory standards
- Lead efforts in water resource management including HEC modeling
- Provide expertise in civil engineering practices for infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in water treatment and wastewater treatment projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, and HEC software
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to draft engineering plans and designs effectively
- Knowledge of water resource management practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
