Job Summary
We are seeking a Service/Test Technician for a testing systems/equipment manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This role is responsible for setting up, conducting, and troubleshooting tests on testing equipment, with a focus on refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems and ensuring equipment quality and performance. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.
Responsibilities:
- Starting up, troubleshooting, and performing tests on our standard product line, including the calibration and operation of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with systems, making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Perform basic final assembly work
- Ensure products meet quality and performance standards
- Implement and improve procedures
- Gather and document pertinent data on the performance of products and prototypes
- Maintain standards for product testing and inspection as part of the overall quality standard
- Participate in a team environment to develop and design new and existing products
- Implement and participate in Lean and 5S processes and projects
- Working closely with the engineering and quality teams to improve overall product quality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration and electrical systems
- Competent with computers including Google suites preferred
- Previous experience in a test or service technician role, preferably in a manufacturing or commercial environment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies preferred
- Knowledge of test standards (ASTM, IEC, ISO, MIL-STD) preferred
The schedule is Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The pay is dependent on experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
