Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Full-Time Detailer to join our team at our CDJR, Chevy, Buick, and GMC dealership. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards, both inside and out. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience by ensuring that each vehicle is presented in its best possible condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring they meet dealership quality standards.
- Wash, wax, and polish vehicles to give them a clean and shiny appearance.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats, and upholstery to ensure vehicles are spotless inside.
- Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Apply protective treatments to vehicle surfaces, including tires, trim, and upholstery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and products are stored properly.
- Inspect vehicles for any cosmetic issues or damage and report findings to management.
- Assist with preparing vehicles for customer deliveries or showings.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly dried and finished after cleaning and detailing.
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including moving vehicles or supporting the service department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a similar position is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move frequently while detailing vehicles.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
