What are the responsibilities and job description for the Task Force Manager position at Sethi Management?
As a Task Force GM, you’ll step into key leadership roles across our hotels, ensuring smooth operations, motivating teams, and maintaining brand and service standards. You'll work closely with corporate support teams and hotel staff to stabilize operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as interim General Manager at various properties within our portfolio
- Lead and support all hotel departments to meet or exceed performance goals
- Implement and maintain brand standards and operating procedures
- Identify operational challenges and develop quick solutions
- Build and maintain positive guest and team relations
- Support transitions such as new openings, leadership gaps, or property takeovers
- Report to Director of Operations with regular performance updates
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager (minimum 5 years)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel frequently, 90% of time (depending on home base, CA preferred)
- Familiarity with major hotel brands and systems are a plus (e.g., Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott)
- Flexible, adaptable, and ready to lead in diverse environments
