Seton Catholic Schools is a network of K-8 parish schools in Milwaukee. There are currently 14 schools serving 3,500 students in the network. The network is planned to expand to a total of 24 schools serving nearly 8,000 students, making Seton the largest Catholic elementary school network in the country. Seton is strengthening academics, faith formation and life-long outcomes for all students and is a unique model on the front end of transforming Catholic education in Milwaukee and across the nation.
Role Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Instructor to join our Family Engagement Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fitness and wellness, with the ability to motivate and inspire parents to achieve their health goals. As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead various classes at our Southside schools and provide fitness sessions and promote a positive and energetic environment within our school parents.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Conduct engaging fitness classes such as Zumba, yoga, strength, and group fitness sessions.
• Educate clients on proper body mechanics and anatomy to ensure safe exercise practices.
• Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques to enhance class offerings.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate individuals or groups.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in planning classes and training sessions.
• The ability to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation and fosters community among members.
Work locations and schedule:
• Monday: 8:30AM-9:30AM or 4:00PM-5:00PM-Our Lady Queen of Peace
• Tuesday: 8:00AM-9:00AM- Prince of Peace School
• Wednesday: 8:30-9:30AM- St. Adalbert School
• Thursday: 8:30AM-9:30AM- St. Rafael School
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Customer service: 2 years
• Group fitness: 2 years
• Certification: Please have a certification for at least one of the following: Zumba
• This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, demonstrating exercises, and occasionally lifting light weights to guide participants through workouts.
• Must be able to perform a wide range of physical movements to effectively demonstrate exercises, including cardiovascular activities, strength training, Zumba dancing and flexibility exercises.

Physical Demands:
This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, demonstrating exercises, and occasionally lifting light weights to guide participants through workouts.
Must be able to perform a wide range of physical movements to effectively demonstrate exercises, including cardiovascular activities, strength training, Zumba dancing and flexibility exercises.
This position requires traveling to different school locations per class, physical skills that will allow the employee to work in a typical office setting, such as standing, sitting, talking and listening on the phone, and moving between offices and buildings. The ability to drive a car and travel between schools is essential. The employee must occasionally lift and move boxes and supplies or other items up to 20 pounds.
