- Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more.
Responsibilities
The clinical pharmacist I optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
- Other applicable state requirements - i.e. sterile compounding, etc.
- BLS & ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue).
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
- 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
