Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
- Observe patients' progress and prepare reports for Registered Nurses or other medical staff.
- Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
- Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
- Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, one year of experience in acute or long-term care, and experience with patient safety best practices.
