Your Role
- Assist physicians and registered nurses in caring for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Maintain and disinfect endoscopic and accessory equipment.
- Implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
- Meet Standards of Practice for maintaining Endoscopy equipment and supplies.
- Manage assigned tasks, supplies, and equipment.
- Carry out assistant activities during procedures/treatments to ensure asepsis and patient safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year Endoscopy Tech/Surgical Tech experience required.
- GI Technical Specialist certificate from the Society of Gastroenterology Nurse and Associates, Inc.
