Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
Some of your key responsibilities as an LVN will include:
- Assisting with daily clinic operations in an urgent care setting
- Assessing patients and performing various nursing tasks
- Answering nurse calls and responding to patient needs
- Administering medications and providing patient care
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Completion of education to obtain Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with Texas Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state licensure recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
