  • We are an 83-bed acute care hospital offering a range of services, including Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER.

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
  • Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care, involving the patient / family as necessary.
  • Develop and implement therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and skills.
  • Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
  • Provide education to patients, families and staff members as needed for treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient and personal records.
  • Participate in performance improvement processes within the department, site and network.
  • Select new team members and participate in peer review of performance as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

    • Qualifications

    Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • Licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Texas, obtained prior to hire.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • Two years of experience in Physical Therapy.
