THE MISSION:
Planning, implementing, and managing production with the best possible productivity with the lowest possible scrap of raw material with the specifications and quality requirements within the specified costs. In addition, all safety regulations must be complied with.

Lead the team within the framework of continuous improvement.

Manage staff in accordance with company policies.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

• Ensure the safety of your employees throughout the plant.
• Provide a point of connection between the quality and production department.
• Document production, scrap and productivity summary and report to superior.
• Prioritize machines on the basis of the Production Plan.
• Ensure sufficient production supplies available at the machines
• Conduct recruitment interviews to ensure sufficient workforce to run stable production.
• Cooperate with HR and support in solving problems in the team.
• Arbitrate and resolve internal labor problems.
• Moderate communication between workers and managers.
• Support in training new employees as machine technicians and/or Inspector Packer.
• Evaluate workers of your shift.
• Plan and execute product tests for customers.
• Create and train new and existing machine technicians and/or Inspector Packer in new procedures, continuous improvements, or process changes.
• Make decisions on the production floor on time and without exception in the interest of the company.
• Support inventory management.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and Code of Conduct

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Completed secondary school, technical or industrial studies
• Work experience in the food industry or related of at least 5 years
• Six sigma green belt
• Full command of English and basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus
• Understanding Production Costs
• Computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Salary: TBD

Schedule: 8 Hour Shift, Monday to Friday 0240 to 2300 (2:40 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
