We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. We offer a competitive hourly wage with benefits after 90 days. Full-time work with overtime- pay past 40 hours. Opportunities for advancement offered as well. All applicants will be considered.
Duties
- Work directly with Shop Manager.
- Ability to work unattended to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain shop and yard for cleanliness and organization.
- Perform basic tasks such as PM maintenance, oil changes, filters, etc.
- Perform basic inspections on equipment at the shop and yard.
- Assist Operators and Drivers when loading out or returning from field.
- Follow all safety protocols while working in the shop and on equipment.
Requirements
- Experience working with hand tools.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Show up on time, work from 8am-4:30pm M-F
- Pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Take pride in work performed.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record of past 3 years.
- Organizational skills.
