TITLE: Adjunct Instructor (EDiGlobal)
CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time Faculty (contract based)
REPORTS TO: Office of the Provost

Position Summary:
EDiGlobal Adjunct Instructors assist in Southeastern University's academic mission by teaching undergraduate courses at the EDiGlobal extension site locations. Adjunct assignments are offered on an irregular basis, and are subject to change in response to the University's academic needs.
EDiGlobal instructors must interact with students weekly to include timely reply to student’s discussion board post and emails and timely grading of student’s assignments. Additionally, EDiGlobal instructors must maintain communication with site/campus academic directors.

Essential Qualifications:
Must have a masters degree, with at least 18 hours of completed graduate coursework in the discipline area of interest.
Ability to integrate faith and learning.
Sufficient availability for regular and substantive student interaction including timely assignment grading and email support.
Excellent oral and written language skills.
Outstanding Christian character.
Positive recommendations from applicable extension site/regional campus/partnership director.
Preferred Qualifications:
More than 18 hours of graduate course work in a discipline, as well as professional experience in the discipline, needed to teach various courses.
Experience in teaching in an online modality.
Positive recommendations from previous employers.
