We seek a talented and team-oriented Engineering Intern to add to our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in day-to-day activities
- Sourcing components to an engineer’s specification
- Assist in creating purchase requisitions per an engineer’s specification
- Contacting vendors for the parts status of ordered components
- Assist in documenting the “As-built” state of various complex assemblies and machines
- Assist in some electro-mechanical assembly activities
- Assist Engineers and Functional Leaders in locating and organizing digital content
- Assist in some inventory and part location moves
- Perform research projects in a variety of areas, including energy consumption and conservation
- Assist with social media strategy as it relates to attracting future technical talent
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline
- Passion for 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing, Metallurgy, or Electro-Optics
- Strong commitment to safety and creating a safe culture
- Familiarity with the MS Office suite
- Use of basic hand tools
- Physical requirements
- Experience with 3D Modeling and CAD systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, and bend for long periods
