Becoming a Team Member:

We’re seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to lead SEV’s pricing promotional strategy, paid media, web optimization, and lifecycle marketing. This role will oversee a growing team and will be directly responsible for building and running an in-house media buying function. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, leveraging both short-term performance optimizations and long-term growth planning to scale the business. The Head of Growth Marketing will take ownership of driving client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, ensuring that all marketing channels are aligned and working together toward sustainable business growth.


Responsibilities:


Growth Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive growth strategy to drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, operations, and innovation teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Build and scale a growth-oriented marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Pricing & Promotional Strategy

  • Own the pricing and promotional strategy for SEV, ensuring that offers are competitive and aligned with customer needs and market conditions.
  • Leverage data and customer insights to design and execute compelling promotional campaigns to drive conversions, seasonal sales, and new market penetration.
  • Work with the finance, sales, and innovation teams to continuously optimize pricing models, discounts, and bundling strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.


Paid Media & In-House Media Buying

  • Build, manage, and scale an in-house paid media team across Google, Meta, and other digital platforms, optimizing campaigns for client acquisition and engagement.
  • Oversee the development and execution of data-driven advertising strategies, including A/B testing, creative optimization, and bid strategy refinement.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize ad campaigns to drive bookings, client acquisition, and revenue.
  • Stay ahead of paid media trends, platform changes, and competitive tactics to maximize efficiency and performance.


SEO Strategy

  • Own the strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive high-quality, targeted traffic to the website.
  • Manage the implementation of comprehensive SEO tactics, including keyword optimization, backlink building, and technical SEO (e.g., site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability).
  • Analyze SEO performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to improve rankings and drive sustainable organic growth.
  • Work closely with content, innovation, and development teams to ensure SEO is integrated across the entire site, ensuring content is optimized for both user experience and search engines.

Website Strategy & User Experience (UX)

  • Lead the development of a seamless website strategy to maximize user engagement and conversion.
  • Partner with UX designers and web developers to ensure the site architecture is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and optimized for conversion, focusing on reducing friction throughout the user journey.
  • Ensure the website is fast, mobile-responsive, and capable of supporting high levels of traffic. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like page load speed, bounce rate, and user session duration.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Take ownership of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy, using data to continuously improve the website’s ability to convert visitors into clients or leads.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests and other experiments to test hypotheses about website elements, such as CTAs, layouts, copy, forms, and product pages. Analyze results and iterate to improve performance.
  • Analyze and optimize every stage of the user journey, from landing page to checkout, ensuring a frictionless and intuitive path for users to complete desired actions.
  • Leverage analytics tools to monitor visitor behavior, identify drop-off points, and recommend actionable changes to increase conversions.

Lifecycle Marketing Strategy

  • Lead the strategy and execution of email, SMS, and other lifecycle marketing channels to drive client retention, repeat bookings, and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized, timely, and relevant messaging across all stages of the client journey.
  • Own the development and optimization of automated customer touchpoints, ensuring seamless client experiences and high levels of engagement.

Performance Analytics & Measurement

  • Own the marketing technology (MarTech) stack, ensuring the integration of tools for automation, analytics, and client engagement to drive growth and operational efficiency.
  • Implement robust reporting and measurement frameworks to track and analyze the ROI of all growth channels, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Use data insights to iterate on strategies, continually refining and optimizing across all growth marketing channels.

Innovation & Experimentation

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital marketing, customer behavior, and new growth tactics to identify opportunities for innovative marketing strategies.
  • Lead experiments across different marketing channels, pricing models, and promotional strategies to find new and scalable growth opportunities.


Skills & Qualifications:


Growth-Oriented & Data-Driven
:

  • A marketer with 10 years of experience in digital marketing, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and business growth. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, driving long-term growth while optimizing campaigns on a daily basis.

Multi-Unit Brand Expertise:

  • You have a proven track record of managing and scaling paid media and digital campaigns for 40 multi-unit brands. You understand the complexities of working with businesses that have multiple locations, and you can adapt strategies to meet both the overarching brand goals and the unique needs of individual units or regions.

Paid Media Leadership:

  • Experienced in building and leading in-house paid acquisition teams. You excel at creating a high-performance culture and ensuring the team understands the challenges of managing media campaigns across multi-unit environments. You’ve successfully scaled teams to meet the needs of growing businesses.

Hands-On Paid Media Expert:

  • You are highly proficient in platforms like Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and other performance marketing tools. You’re comfortable adjusting strategies and analyzing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.

Cross-Disciplinary Marketing Skills:

  • Deep understanding of SEO, CRO, and web analytics tools. You’re also highly skilled in email/SMS marketing and CRM platforms, leveraging these tools to improve customer engagement and retention.

Tech-Savvy & Results-Focused:

  • You are knowledgeable in marketing technology, including platforms for paid media management, CRM integration, and analytics. You seamlessly integrate new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.

Analytical & ROI-Driven:

  • You are highly analytical, with experience managing seven-figure budgets and a proven ability to drive ROI-driven growth across all marketing channels.

  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, adapting quickly to changing business needs and identifying opportunities for optimization. You excel at navigating the challenges of scaling marketing efforts across multiple locations and markets.
