Perform food service duties inclusive of resident tray assembly, conforming exactly to the diet needs’ ordered

Prepare cold food items, snacks and dessert items and nourishment for care center residents, patients, employees and visitors

Assist the Dietary cooks in food preparation cooking various foods Prepare nutritious and appealing food items, adjusting recipes as needed to assure adequate amount of food is made available while minimizing waste

Cleans all food contact areas and cooking utensils ascertaining cleanliness and proper sanitation relative to and in compliance with the HACCP standards Sweep and mop the work, dining, storage areas the coolers and freezers daily Use appropriate cleaning supplies in proper amounts according to Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and OSHA requirements

Demonstrates proper method of cleaning equipment and work space according to established standards Ensures correct temperature of water for washing and sanitizing dishes/pots according to department standards and records temperatures on daily log charts Inventories and delivers bulk nourishments
Qualifications
- Highs Scholl Diploma or GED
- Food Handlers Certification
