Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team in Fairfield, CA. The ideal candidate will perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms, including transthoracic and stress echocardiography.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and produce accurate images for physician interpretation.
- Analyze and summarize findings for cardiologist review.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document patient information and test results accurately in the medical record system.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Follow protocols and standards of practice as outlined by the facility and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cardiac sonography.
- Proficiency in performing and analyzing echocardiograms.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
