We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant/Scheduler to join our team!
Previous Medical Office experience is a must, this is not an entry level position.
This job is fast paced and requires thorough attention to detail. You must have patience, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm, helpful, and polite at all times. (Thick Skin and the ability to not take things personally are a must). If you do not have Medical Office Experience, you need not apply.
This is not a job for the timid. You must be sharp as a tack! The pace can be lightning fast at times with many time sensitive calls and emails requiring quick response, accurate communication and the ability to be flexible. You must be able to think outside the box at times.

You will be responsible for helping clients and clinicians with scheduling, tracking intake forms, calling for insurance coverage information and other critical behind the scenes organizational tasks .
Qualifications:
- Superior written, computer (typing speed of 40 wpm) and verbal communication skills are a must
- Previous experience in Medical Appointment Scheduling, Customer Service, and Administrative Functions in a medical environment required
- Experience with intakes a plus
- Ability to build rapport with clients, communicate with compassion, patience, and accuracy
- Ability to communicate with co workers efficiently, clearly, and with accuracy
- Experience with Google mail and docs a must
- Ability to prioritize and execute in an efficient and timely manner
- Team player but also an independent thinker and decision maker
- Positive and professional demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
