Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Community Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Represent Seven Counties Services at community events, meetings, and public forums.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and select community stakeholders.
- Outreach & Education:
- Develop and implement outreach initiatives to increase awareness of mental health, substance use, and developmental services.
- Coordinate personal and organizational attendance at events, presentations, and resource fairs to educate the community.
- Distribute informational materials and ensure accessibility to community resources.
- Event Planning & Program Development:
- Organize community events, awareness campaigns, and engagement activities.
- Track and analyze outreach efforts to measure impact and effectiveness.
- Advocacy & Resource Coordination:
- Advocate for mental health, addiction recovery, and social services within the community.
- Connect individuals and families with appropriate resources and services.
- Identify gaps in service accessibility and propose solutions to improve community impact.

EDUCATION
- Associate's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree in a Human Service discipline preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree with two plus years of experience in community outreach, social services, or nonprofit work, or
- Bachelor's degree with one year of experience in community outreach, social services, or nonprofit work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse populations.
- Experience in event coordination and partnership development.
- Passion for mental health advocacy and community service.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel within the service area and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
