The Position:
Responsible for overseeing activities of non-cooking kitchen staff during shift. To ensure all restaurant dishes, pots and pans are cleaned in a fast and consistent manner. Assists the supervisor and cooks in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the culinary department. Duties are but not limited to:
- Responsible for overseeing activities of non-cooking kitchen staff during shift.
- Ensures a safe and professional environment and monitors use of chemicals.
- Inspects kitchen, storeroom and walk-in refrigerators to ensure they are neat, clean and orderly.
- Cleans all restaurant and kitchen equipment, sinks, tables and drains in an orderly and consistent manner.
- Ensures the cleaning and sanitizing of all walk-in refrigerators. Maintains a clean and safe work area as directed by industry standards.
- Ensures that all floor mats, floors and walls are properly cleaned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
- 1 year experience in working in a similar position required.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience and knowledgeable in MSDS Guidelines required.
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
- Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
- Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
