Snack Bar Counter Person greets guest with enthusiasm and takes food orders over the counter and provides cashier service for the guest. Prepares food orders in the Bingo Hall. Maintains the cleanliness in the Snack Bar area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Contributes to a high energy, fast-paced environment that provides guests with an entertaining, fun, dynamic and “Unforgettable Guest Experience”.
- Processes transactions accurately on the cash register, accepts payment and makes change.
- Relays guests’ orders accurately to the person delegated to cook and then serves them over the counter to the guest.
- Creates orders according to menu and supervisor instructions with attention to taste and visual appeal.
- Dispenses beverages and packaged food items to the guest.
- Assists in maintaining inventory, stocks condiments, utensils, and paper products.
- Cleans the area, restocks all items, puts away perishables and covers all food items at the end of each shift.
- Maintains the appearance of the Snack Bar area ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Consistently treats all guests and Team Members with respect and contributes to a positive work environment.
- Makes recommendations to the supervisor regarding menu, receipts, food supply quantity and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.
- Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
- 1 year of customer service experience required.
- 1 year of cash handling and cash register experience preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and guest relations skills.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
- Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate.
