Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards and all applicable local, state and federal laws. Interacts with Sports Bar customers to ensure quality service for Resort guests and to generate repeat business. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greets guest and takes beverage orders, delivers them to their table. Ensures that all guests are of legal drinking age (21) by checking ID when questionable.
- Studies bar menus to assist guest in choice and pricing.
- Presents orders to the bartender.
- Picks up empty glasses and bottles, helping maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
- Computes bill, presents to customer, and takes cash or credit cards to the bar.
- Returns change or charge card to the guest.
- Ensures compliance with OLCC regulations.
- Resolves customer disputes, concerns or complaints when possible.
- Refers to the Sports Bar Supervisor when needed.
- Provides superior service to Resort guest.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate is desirable.
- 1 year serving experience required.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation skills.
- Experience in a customer service position is desirable.
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to work in an area that is somewhat confined and dark.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
- Current Food Handler Certificate and OLCC License required.
