Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct mammography exams following established protocols to ensure high-quality, diagnostically accurate images.
- Patient Preparation: Explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process.
- Positioning Expertise: Position patients effectively to capture clear and precise breast images.
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring functionality and performing routine maintenance checks.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review images and provide accurate assessments.
- Quality Control: Evaluate images for accuracy and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification (required).
- BLS Certification (required).
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting as a Mammography Technologist.
