About Crotched Mountain School:
Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Situated on thousands of acres of preserved habitat, CMS offers a therapeutic environment in which students are encouraged to explore and thrive.
Pay Rate: $55,000-$60,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advocate for students, ensuring they receive the support they need.
- Coordinate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
- Work closely with families, schools, courts, and community agencies.
- Facilitate communication between students, caregivers, and external stakeholders.
- Support students' transition across academic, residential, and medical services.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 5 years of experience in human services (children’s congregate care).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children with disabilities.
