We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team as a Therapeutic Mentor (TM) within the CBHI program. In this role, you will provide one-on-one, community-based support to youth (and occasionally adults) in need of assistance with daily living skills, social interactions, and emotional regulation. As a TM, you will work closely with clients to address their behavioral and communication needs, promoting growth through strength-based, client-centered support.

Responsibilities
- Provide structured, strength-based mentoring to youth (and occasionally adults), focused on developing age-appropriate social, emotional, and daily living skills.
- Support clients in navigating challenges related to communication, social interactions, and self-regulation.
- Establish a positive, supportive relationship with clients, using a strength-based approach to build trust and encourage personal development.
- Collaborate with other team members, including In-Home Therapists (IHT), to help implement treatment plans and achieve therapeutic goals.
- Document all interactions and progress notes in accordance with agency standards and within required timeframes.
- Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources, promoting independence and skill-building.
- Work with caregivers to support the development of effective caregiving strategies and enhance family dynamics.
- Attend regular supervision, team meetings, and trainings to ensure high-quality service delivery and ongoing professional development.
