Job Purpose

We are consistently on the lookout for new talent to join our growing team. Our software engineer's purpose is to be the primary technical resource for 1 or more clients to offer quality solutions for business value challenges. A person in this role is self motivated to provide high standard performant software, communicates well with clients and teams, and has an appetite for learning and growing in a vibrant exciting industry.

Global Responsibilities

As a consultancy, meeting people and building our awareness is a primary function of every employee's role. As a result, all Seven Hills Technology employees are expected to participate in some level of activities related to the company's visibility, brand, and credibility. These may include but are not limited to:

1. Writing blog posts
2. Sharing content online
3. Giving a lunch and learn presentation
4. Attending conferences
5. Attending meetups or networking groups
6. Speaking at conferences

Job Specific Responsibilities

The perfect candidate for this position will have a demonstrated ability in most or all of the following responsibilities.

1. Deliver high quality and working software
2. Accurately manage time
3. Proactively communicate project updates and status with client and team
4. Work with a client and team to understand their specific business and its needs in terms of technology strategy and software implementation.

Skills

We are looking for a candidate that has a flexible set of skills that cross various technology stacks and tools

1. Experience in back end software development in 1 or more languages or tools
2. Experience in front end software development in 1 or more frameworks
3. Understanding of database types and concepts
4. Demonstrated ability to build and deliver high quality software
5. Demonstrated ability to debug applications

Location

We are based in Cincinnati, OH but our team extends throughout the United States and Mexico. We are open to remote work but also welcome those who would join us in our Sharonville office.
