Scope:
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing bank account and trial balance account reconciliations, payroll processing and supporting the Accounting Manager in other financial activities and projects. Our ideal candidate will have previous office experience in various general accounting activities. This person should have an intermediate working knowledge of general ledger accounting systems, have adequate excel skills and be proficient in other MS office programs. In addition, our candidate must be disciplined, organized and maintain a steady workflow pace.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare bank reconciliations for the general operating and payroll accounts
- Accounts Payable - process vendor invoices, issue disbursements and reconcile the accounts payable control account to vendor details.
- Process inter-company payable/receivables.
- Active involvement in daily, monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Process and reconcile daily deposits.
- Maintain account analysis over various general ledger accounts.
- Participate in the year-end financial audit.
- Compile financial data and reports needed to support the Quarterly and Board reporting.
- Complete any other special projects deemed necessary by Management.
Qualifications:
- Up to 4 years practical general accounting experience. Demonstrates technical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel. Working knowledge of general ledger systems.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain steady pace of workflow.
